It’s early days, however, the latest update for Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7 seems to be causing a growing number of user’s issues related to workstations and servers blocking RDP and Network Shares.
The update ID containing this bug is KB4480970 and displays the error "The handle is invalid" when trying to access PC’s with this bug and "The local security authority cannot be contacted. This might be due to an expired password.” when trying to connect via Remote Desktop.
